Against the Bluebirds, though, the 25-year-old already looked extremely comfortable with the pace and physical demands of English football. The Brazilian was composed and creative on the ball and excelled in breaking up opposition attacks with smart positioning and robust defensive work.

Liverpool fans will certainly be hoping to see plenty more from their big money summer buy as the season goes on.
