According to The Sun, United officials are not pleased that the Dutch manager lifted the lid on the private meeting in Ibiza, where they confirmed Ten Hag would be remaining in the role.
The Red Devils boss was on holiday at the time when club officials appeared on his doorstep to ask him to stay on for the 2024/25 season.

Speaking on Dutch TV, Ten Hag revealed the details of the meeting. "Yes, but this week, they really threw a spanner in the works because then, out of nowhere, they suddenly showed up right on our doorstep," he said. "They wanted to continue with me."

New minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, held an end-of-season review at the club where he evaluated the performance of Ten Hag at Old Trafford. United finished eighth in the Premier League but did secure the FA Cup against rivals Manchester City, which was enough for the hierarchy at the club to back Ten Hag for next season.
